Ankata provides personalized online tutoring services for students of various grade levels through platforms like Zoom and Google Meet.

Our goal is to deliver high-quality, accessible learning experiences for students while maintaining transparency and respect for your privacy.

2. Service Use

By registering or booking a session, you confirm that:

  • You are a parent, guardian, or student authorized to use our services.
  • You provide accurate and up-to-date information.
  • You agree to communicate respectfully and responsibly with tutors and staff.
  • Students under 18 must have parental or guardian consent to use Ankata services.

3. Booking, Payments, and Refunds

  • All sessions must be paid for in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Prices vary by subject, level, or tutor experience.
  • Sessions canceled at least 24 hours before the scheduled time are eligible for a reschedule or refund.
  • Cancellations made with less than 24-hour notice or missed sessions are non-refundable.
  • Refunds are issued only in cases of tutor absence, duplicate payment, or technical failure on our part.

4. Session Conduct

To ensure a positive experience:

  • Students must attend sessions in a quiet, distraction-free environment.
  • Recording or sharing sessions is prohibited without written consent.
  • Inappropriate behavior, language, or harassment will not be tolerated and may result in service termination.

5. Educational Limitations

While Ankata strives to improve academic understanding and confidence, we do not guarantee specific grades or test results. Tutoring sessions are meant to supplement, not replace, formal education.

6. Intellectual Property

All materials shared during lessons — including worksheets, presentations, and guides — remain the property of Ankata or the tutor who created them. These materials are for personal educational use only and may not be reproduced or distributed without written permission.

7. Data Collection and Use

To provide tutoring services, we may collect the following information:

  • Parent and student names, email addresses, and phone numbers
  • Academic level, subject preferences, and session notes
  • Payment and billing information (handled securely through trusted third-party processors)
  • Session details and communications related to learning progress

We use this information to:

  • Schedule sessions and manage communication
  • Improve educational experiences
  • Process payments securely
  • Send reminders, receipts, and progress updates
  • We do not sell, trade, or rent personal data to anyone.

8. Data Security and Retention
